SHANGHAI – Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) announced today an agreement to merge BAC Cooling Systems (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. with BAC Dalian Co. Ltd, a joint venture with longtime partner and refrigeration market leader Dalian Bingshan Group (DBG), to form a single company in China.? BAC China will be a market leading premium supplier of energy-saving evaporative cooling products and engineered solutions for the commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial process cooling markets in the Asia-Pacific Region.

“Recognizing the growing importance of the China market, BAC will also increase its investments in research and development capabilities, innovative new product introductions, and expanded manufacturing capability,” said Don Fetzer, Global President of BAC.? “We are excited to be expanding ?our partnership with DBG, an established market leader across many industries in China.”

Water-cooled systems are a very energy-efficient method of delivering high-capacity cooling to large buildings, refrigerated warehouses, and manufacturers – reducing energy costs significantly versus alternatives.? BAC China will give building owners, manufacturers, refrigerated food and beverage distributors, design engineers and contractors a single source for evaporative cooling solutions.

BAC has appointed Ernst and Young Advisory and MHP Law Firm to help facilitate the successful integration of the businesses, and ensure that BAC China provides an integrated customer experience across all markets.? BAC expects to complete the merger in April 2019.
